This is a starting point, not legal advice

Everything below is written in plain English and covers what a solo coaching business in South Carolina normally needs. Every bracketed item needs a real answer. If Kim ends up taking clients outside the US, or storing anything a doctor sent her, it's worth thirty minutes with an attorney.

Who we are

Bloom50 Collective is a health and fitness coaching business run by Kim Farrell, based in [CITY, STATE]. You can reach us at hello@bloom50collective.com.

Health disclaimer

Bloom50 Collective provides fitness coaching, general nutrition guidance and habit coaching. It is not medical care. Kim is a certified personal trainer (NASM), a Precision Nutrition Level 1 coach and a behavior change specialist. She is not a doctor, a registered dietitian, a physical therapist or a licensed mental health professional, and nothing on this site or in a session diagnoses, treats or cures any condition.

Talk to your doctor before starting any new exercise or nutrition program, particularly if you have a medical condition, an injury, are pregnant, take prescription medication, or have been away from exercise for a while. If something hurts, stop. If you think you're having a medical emergency, call 911.

You take part at your own risk, and you're responsible for deciding whether any given exercise is right for your body on a given day.

What information we collect

  • When you fill in the consultation form: your name, email, phone number, your answers about your goals and history, and anything you choose to tell us about your health.
  • When you sign up for the weekly workout: your email address.
  • When you book a call: whatever the booking tool collects, which is usually your name, email and chosen time.
  • Automatically: basic, anonymous traffic statistics — pages viewed, roughly where visitors came from. No cookies are used to track you across other websites.

How we use it

To reply to you, to prepare for and run your sessions, and — if you signed up for it — to send you workouts. That's the whole list. We don't sell your information, we don't rent it, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Your form answers are stored in [AIRTABLE / whichever tool] and email is handled through [KIT / BEEHIIV / whichever tool]. Those companies process the data on our behalf and are bound by their own security terms.

Health information you share

Anything you tell us about your health is used only to coach you safely. It isn't shared with anyone, and it isn't covered by HIPAA, because a fitness coach isn't a healthcare provider under that law. Share only what you're comfortable sharing.

How long we keep it

Client records are kept while you're working with Kim and for [2 YEARS?] afterwards. Email subscribers stay on the list until they unsubscribe. Ask us to delete your information at any time and we will.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom of it.
  • Ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted — email hello@bloom50collective.com.

Coaching terms

  • Payment. Single sessions and packages are paid at the time of booking. Package payments can be split into two installments by arrangement. Monthly coaching bills every month until you cancel.
  • Rescheduling. [CONFIRM] Sessions can be moved with at least 24 hours' notice at no charge. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice count as used.
  • Package expiry. [CONFIRM] Four-session packages are valid for three months from purchase, eight-session packages for six months.
  • Cancelling monthly coaching. Cancel any time before your next billing date. Months already paid for aren't refunded, and you keep any sessions remaining in that month.
  • Refunds. [CONFIRM] Unused sessions in a package can be refunded within 30 days of purchase. After that they're non-refundable but can be transferred to someone else.
  • If Kim cancels a session, it's rescheduled at no cost or refunded, your choice.

Affiliate links

Some links to equipment are affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Only gear Kim actually uses is recommended, and a commission never determines what goes on the list.
